I had the opportunity to have a sleepover with Sonny-Boy (left) and Cher-Bear (right) this weekend since both of these little butterballs were featured at the PetSmart Adoptathon in Ottawa!
Even at approximate ages of 9-10 years, these two sure can move as you can see in the above video link!

Cher is such a comical-looking girl ~ people cannot help but smile when they see this big-eyed beauty! She has a tendency to tilt her head to the side when you talk to her, kind of how she is doing in this photo, but only way more dramatic (its adorable!).
Both Cher and Sonny are similar in size and as you can see aren't much bigger than my husband's runners! LOL.
Here is a cute shot of Cher drying off after her bath! There was a lot of grunting and snorting with pleasure going on when she was free from the tub!
But the bath and a good brush sure paid off! She was so white and soft....and her fur had a little scent of baby powder! Cher was hoping that the crowd at PetSmart would love to pick her up and cuddle with her (and they did!!!!!)
There is Cher in the middle looking to greet some incoming visitors!
Sonny is not nearly as photogenic as his sister Cher, but he is every bit as cute and loveable!
During the short-time we had with this dynamic duo, I cannot count how many times on my hand that Sonny flipped over for a belly rub! He loooooved soaking up the love & attention and was sure to be in hands reach at all times :)
Sonny is such a good helper around the house and did a good job cleaning up under the table after dinner.
He may be a little "man's man", but rest assured he can be a big ball of mush when he wants to be! A moment before this photo was taken, he was kissing Peep the lamb!
He looooves to roll around in the yard when the sun is out!

Sonny also enjoys being on the lookout for people, dogs and cars that pass by. If he sees something that he thinks we should know about, he'll let us know with a grunt and a raspy little bark! Clearly, Cher just likes to hang out - if and when Sonny decides to give a warning bark, she'll be sure to jump up to check it out for herself too!
Sonny is such a good big brother to sister Cher! The two of them will often kiss and clean each other!
Gearing up to watch another episode of the Dog Whisperer!
How cute are these dogs ?!?!?!?!
Sonny was tired from sitting in all of the pictures I took! Who knew that being this cute could be this exhausting!
Here is a cute little video of Sonny and Cher before we left for PetSmart!
Overall we had a great day at PetSmart on April 30th and considered it a successful weekend of promoting rescue-awareness! Many people came to say hello to Sonny and Cher, and some of our other lovely adoptable pets (Joe-Joe, Kenzie & Booda!). While Sonny and Cher had a fun sleepover with me and my husband, they were also happy to get back to their routine with their foster mom Lois & fur-sisters Tynna & Anne in Kanata.
