Pugsley was adopted in September! Way to go Pugs!

Ridiculous Cuteness!

Pugsley has had this pink beanie bear since he was just a baby. Even though its quite large, he manages to trot around with it in his mouth, take him upstairs and onto the bed at night. As Pugs was all cuddled up with my husband watching some television before bed, I glanced down and caught this adorable view of Pugsley's little paws coming out over Pink-Bear's shoulders!

Pugsley was of course passed old cold and snoring like a beast - but he couldn't be happier curled up with his human and Pink-Bear before bed!

Here is a short clip of Pugsley and Smokey burning off some steam at the park :) Smokey is soooo fast and lean, but God bless little Pugsley (who is built more like a pot-bellied pig) for trying to keep up! LOL.

A Pug-In-The-Bed

Whoever the lucky family is that adopts Mr. Pugsley is going to find bedtime a hoot! When Pugsley knows its time for bed, he likes to jump right in the middle and he'll wait while you get your pj's on, brush your teeth etc.

Pugsley loves to sleep with his humans at night, and he has since he was just a baby. We tried once to make him sleep on his dog bed (beside our bed) and we lost that battle miserabley! I think he wore us down in about 2 minutes flat with his disgruntled snorts, grunts and anxious pacing....wondering what he could have possibly done wrong that would revoke his bed priviledges (lol). Besides...how can you say no to this face?

One Week with Pugs!

I can't believe its been just over a week already since the Pugster arrived! I would say that he has settled in nicely to our routine. Clearly he is a very happy guy. He loves to play with his foster brothers and sisters and absolutely enjoys (and needs) his walks. Oh you should hear the snorting that goes on when he sees us heading for the leash and collars :)

Sometimes when Pugsley is deep in thought he puts on his "serious face" lol. Don't let it fool you, this guy is comedian-style all the way.....and is always looking for some fun & play!

He loves to chase the tennis ball around and sometimes when you throw it to him, he'll even bring it back too or he will proudly strut around with it in his mouth.

He is a sucker for attention of ANY kind. If pets are being distributed, rest-assured he's right there to cash in on some!

Awwwww, Pugsley smiling! LOL. Actually sometimes his bottom teeth get stuck in his jowls, but when it happens it looks like he is giving us a crazy little smile :)

He likes to nap in all of the favourite doggy resting spots! The sofa (but only on the part that the throw is on).

Puglsey is always up front and centre when he thinks there are treats to be had. Goofy guy.

While he is really enjoying his time in foster care, he also can't wait to have a family of his very own!

Welcome Pugsley!

What a mug on this one!!!!! Puglsey was surrendered this weekend by his owner of almost 4 years. She loved him VERY much and took good care of him. Unfortunately her job called for her to work very long hours (10-12 hrs) and she contacted LOYAL to see if we could find him a home that loves him just as much as she does, but has more time to spend with him.

Pugsley is actually mixed with a Jack Russell Terrier, although he looks just like a pug with a slightly protruding snout -has the personality of a pug too!

He is housetrained and had run of the apartment when his owner went to work. She never had any issues with him barking, having accidents, or being destructive when she left him. He is good with other dogs and likes to go for walks.

We're going to keep you updated as he settles in - He is understandably so missing his owner and wondering where he is. His owner packed a nice big trunk filled with all of his toys, food, treats, bed etc. that we will be sure to pass along to his new adoptive home too.
